Indonesian Journal of Islamic Elementary Education (IJIEE) (p-ISSN: 2797-3840 and e-ISSN: 2797-992X) is a peer-reviewed and open access journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research articles in the field of Islamic elementary education as well as broader issues in general elementary education. The journal serves as an academic platform for scholars, researchers, and practitioners to present and discuss contemporary studies, innovative practices, and theoretical developments that contribute to the advancement of elementary education.

IJIEE is published twice a year, in May and November, by the Islamic Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program, Faculty of Education and Teacher Training, Universitas Islam Negeri K.H. Abdurrahman Wahid Pekalongan, Indonesia. Starting from Volume 5, Issue 2, 2025, the journal accepts and publishes manuscripts in English. The journal welcomes manuscripts covering, but not limited to, the following areas: instructional design, instructional media, curriculum and learning, classroom management, evaluation and assessment, psychology and counseling in elementary schools, and educational policies in both Islamic and general elementary education contexts.

Indonesian Journal of Islamic Elementary Education (IJIEE) is nationally accredited by the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, with Sinta 5 based on Decree No. 0547/E5/DT.05.00/2024, which is valid for five years and enacted from Volume 1, Issue 2, 2021 to Volume 6, Issue 1, 2026.

This journal invites scholars, researchers and students to contribute the results of their studies and research in fields related to elementary education.
