Jurnal Halal Center (JHC) is a reputable scholarly journal that employs a rigorous peer-review process and is dedicated to publishing high-quality research in the field of halal studies. The journal features multidisciplinary, empirical, and globally oriented studies. It aims to enrich scientific knowledge on halal issues and to support the development of sustainable halal policies, industries, and innovations at both national and international levels.
JHC’s scope encompasses halal studies from a wide range of disciplines, including, but not limited to, halal law and fatwas; halal science and technology (food, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and biotechnology); halal assurance and certification systems; halal supply chains and logistics; halal economics and industry; Islamic finance; halal tourism; and halal governance and regulation. The journal also welcomes cutting-edge research related to digital transformation within the halal ecosystem, such as the application of artificial intelligence, blockchain, the Internet of Things (IoT), and information systems for the traceability, authentication, and monitoring of halal products.
JHC is published and printed by the Halal Center of Universitas Islam Negeri K.H. Abdurrahman Wahid Pekalongan. The journal collaborates with the Sharia Economic Community (MES), the Association of Islamic Economists (IAEI), and the Association of Islamic Economics and Business Faculties of Islamic Religious Universities (AFEBIS), under the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia.
All articles in this issue include authors from 4 countries of origin (Malaysia, Pakistan, Nigeria and Indonesia).
