Geometry material is one of the materials that is considered difficult in learning mathematics because it requires a deep understanding to interpret the concept of geometry. Geometry material is divided into two, namely flat geometry and spatial geometry. The difficulties experienced by students in geometry material are difficulties in visualizing geometric material and difficulties in distinguishing shapes in geometry. So the researchers developed a cooperative learning method with ethnomathematical nuances to guide students to be active in learning and obtain contextual examples of spatial geometry. This study uses a quantitative type to determine the effect of using cooperative learning methods with ethnomathematical nuances. Data collection techniques used are tests and questionnaires. Taking this test score that the researcher uses as a determinant of the success of the learning method used, namely the ethnomathematical nuanced cooperative learning method. Based on the results of trials using the Anova test, it was found that H0 was rejected because the value of t-tailed=0.001 was less than =0.05,(t-tailed≤0.05). So it can be concluded that the use of cooperative methods with ethnomathematical nuances is very influential in student learning outcomes for mathematics subjects, especially spatial geometry..
