Kemampuan Koneksi Matematis Siswa Kelas VII.4 SMP N 1 2 X 11 Kayutanam

The purpose of this study was to determine the mathematical connection ability of grade VII.4 students of SMPN 1 2 x 11 Kayutanam in the 2019/2020 academic year. The type of research was quantitative descriptive. The research subject were all students in class VII.4 of SMPN 1 2 x 11 Kayutanam, totaling 20 students. The data collection technique was used documentation, in the form of a daily test answer sheet 1 comparison material which was analyzed in accordance with the scoring rubric of the mathematical connection ability. The collected data were analyzed by analyzing the work results, presenting the data, and drawing conclusions. Based on the analysis of the results of the study it can be concluded that: the mathematical connection ability of class VII.4 students of SMPN 1 2 x 11 Kayutanam in 2019/2020 as a whole had a moderate category with an average value of 57.22. Achievement of mathematical connection ability per indicator of mathematical connection ability with details of the average value of indicators based on aspects of connection between mathematical topics, namely 45.00 with the low category, indicators based on aspects of connection with other disciplines, namely 81.67 with high categories, indicators based on connection aspects with the real world or connections with daily life, namely 45.00 with the low category.
