Efektivitas Learning Cycle 5E Berbantuan Wordwall Terhadap Hasil Belajar Matematika Siswa SMPN 3 Malangke Barat

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Wordwall-assisted 5E Learning Cycle model on students' mathematics learning outcomes. This research employed a quasi-experimental approach with a pretest-posttest control group design. The population comprised all seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 3 Malangke Barat, with a sample of 49 students divided into an experimental group and a control group. Data were collected using learning outcome tests and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics via an independent samples t-test and Cohen’s d effect size calculation. The results indicated that the improvement in student learning outcomes in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the control group. Hypothesis testing revealed a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05, and the effect size analysis yielded a Cohen’s d value of 0.995, which falls into the large effect category. Thus, it can be concluded that the Wordwall-assisted 5E Learning Cycle model is effective in improving students' mathematics learning outcomes.
