Author Guideline

1. General Requirements

  • The manuscript must be an original scientific work relevant to the field of Islamic Economic Law.
  • The manuscript has not been published or submitted to any other journals.
  • The manuscript must be written in proper academic Indonesian or English.
  • Total word count must be between 5,000 and 6,000 words.

2. Manuscript Structure

Title

  • Title should be no more than 14 words.
  • Use Calibri font, size 14 pt, bold.

Author Name and Affiliation

  • Full names of authors (without academic titles).
  • Author affiliation should be clearly stated (Calibri 11 pt).
  • Provide a corresponding email address (written in italic).

Abstract and Keywords

  • Abstract should be written in both English and Indonesian (if the manuscript is in Indonesian) or only in English (if the manuscript is in English).
  • Length: 150–250 words, using Calibri 12 pt, italic.
  • Keywords: 3–5 keywords, arranged in alphabetical order.

Introduction

  • The introduction should provide background, problem statement, and research objectives.
  • Authors must show the novelty of the study supported by literature review and data.

Research Method

  • Describe the type and approach of research, data sources or legal materials, data collection techniques, and analysis methods.

Results and Discussion

  • Explain findings in a detailed manner.
  • Include analysis using relevant theories.
  • Subsections are allowed where necessary.

Conclusion

  • Summarize research findings and analysis.
  • Provide recommendations for future research.

References

  • Use APA Style (American Psychological Association) 6th Edition.
  • At least 70% of references must be from journal articles published in the last 5 years.
  • A minimum of 15 references is required.
  • References should be arranged alphabetically and managed using reference management tools such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.

3. Tables, Figures, and Charts

  • Titles must be placed above the tables/figures/charts (e.g., Table 1. Title).
  • Data sources must be cited below the tables or figures.
  • Ensure all elements are clear and readable.

  • Use APA citation format in body text, for example:

6. Publication Process

Manuscripts must be submitted via the Open Journal System (OJS) at: https://e-journal.uingusdur.ac.id/el_hisbah

The review stages include: Submission → Peer Review → Revision → Acceptance → Publication.

The estimated timeline from submission to publication is 3–4 months.
