Aim and Scope

Aim

JURNAL PENELITIAN is a peer-reviewed journal. This journal aims to facilitate the publication of high-quality research that explores various aspects of religiosity, Islam, and culture in Indonesia. Known as a religious country, where Islam is the majority religion, Islam originated from outside Indonesia. On the other hand, Indonesia has unique local dynamics, including cultural diversity. The arrival of Islam as an external religion that brought various aspects such as doctrines and cultures, has its own dynamics when faced with Indonesian-ness. The dynamics between Islam as the majority religion and Indonesian-ness are the focus of Jurnal Penelitian.

Scope

The dynamics between Islam and Indonesian identity enable a diverse range of scientific studies. Therefore, the scope of Jurnal Penelitian includes issues related to:

- The relationship between Islam and local culture in Indonesia,
- Islamic movements vis-a-vis the state in Indonesia,
- Mainstreaming religious moderation in Indonesia,
- Islamic education and appreciation of local culture in Indonesia.
