Peer- Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to Journal of Theoretical and Applied Philanthropy (JTAP)undergo double-blind peer-review process, meaning that both author and reviewer identities remain anonymous to ensure objectivity and academic integrity.

The review process involves the following steps:

  • Initial Editorial Screening: The editorial team checks the manuscript's alignment with the journal's focus and scope and ensures compliance with author guidelines.
  • Reviewer Assessment: The manuscript is sent to at least two independent reviewers in the relevant field. Reviewers evaluate the quality, originality, scientific contribution, and methodological clarity.
  • Recommendation: Reviewers provide recommendations: (1) accept without revision, (2) minor revision, (3) major revision, or (4) reject.
  • Final Decision: The editor makes the publication decision based on reviewers' recommendations.
  • Author Revision: Authors revise the manuscript according to reviewer comments and resubmit for further consideration.
