Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of HDI (Human Development Index) and GRDP (Gross Regional Domestic Product) on the Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) in Central Java Province in 2017-2021. The hypothesis in this study is proven by using the econometric model with the Multiple Linear Regression method, t test, F test and with the Classical Assumption Test. Based on the analysis it was concluded that the HDI (Human Development Index) and GRDP (Gross Regional Domestic Product) variables had an effect on the Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) in Central Java for the 2017-2021 period with a value of Sig. (Significant) HDI (Human Development Index) of 0.003 and a value of Sig. (Significant) GRDP or Gross Regional Domestic Product which is equal to 0.005 with a value of α = 0.05.
