Problematika Dakwah Digital menurut Ustaz Salim A. Fillah: Antara Etika, Media, dan Spiritualitas

The rapid growth of social media has reshaped the orientation of Islamic preaching and generated academic concerns regarding the preservation of ethics, spirituality, and substantive depth in digital da'wah. This study aims to examine the challenges of digital da'wah as articulated by Ustaz Salim A. Fillah, with a focus on the values of adab, media utilization strategies, and the spiritual approaches he employs. Using a descriptive qualitative method, the research draws on a three-week media observation that includes a systematic review of sermons, Q&A programs, and various da'wah content on YouTube, complemented by a literature study on digital da'wah discourse. Data were analyzed descriptively and analytically through coding, thematic categorization, and message interpretation based on communication theory. The findings indicate that Ustaz Salim adopts a reflective and historically grounded model of da'wah that emphasizes ethical conduct, spiritual depth, and audience empowerment. This approach serves as an alternative to contemporary digital da'wah trends that tend to be instant and lack spiritual substance. Theoretically, the study expands the understanding of ethical, contextual, and community-oriented digital da'wah. The main limitation lies in the absence of direct interaction with the da'i, highlighting the need for future studies employing triangulation. The study recommends that young preachers balance media appeal with substantive religious messaging.
