HIKMATUNA: Journal for Integrative Islamic Studies (ISSN Print: 2460-531X; Online: 2503-3042) is a peer-reviewed and open-access journal published biannually (June and December) by the Postgraduate Program UIN K.H. Abdurrahman Wahid Pekalongan, Indonesia, dedicated to advancing scientific research on Islamic Family Law and Islamic Economics Law in the contemporary world. The journal aims to publish high-quality original research articles resulting from field research on various continents using both qualitative and quantitative approaches.
This journal covers a wide range of topics, including Islamic Family Law and Islamic Economics Law, which promotes critical inquiry, methodological diversity, and integrative dialogue between classical Islamic intellectual traditions such as legal or jurisprudence and sharia maqashid with contemporary academic approaches. Hikmatuna specifically encourages the integrative study of Islamic family law and Islamic economics law with other fields such as sociology, anthropology, political science, public policy, and digital technology to produce publications on Islamic family law such as family disputes, family resilience, inheritance law, alimony, and marriage digitalization. Meanwhile, Islamic economics law publications include the digitization of economic transactions or fintech, capital market law, as well as the application of the principles of social justice and the achievement of the goals of maqashid sharia.
