Peer Review Process

Manabia: Journal of Constitutional Law maintains peer review standards while improving the efficiency of the process. All manuscripts published in Manabia: Journal of Constitutional Law under go full peer review, with the key characteristics listed below:

  1. All submitted manuscripts are first evaluated for suitability and appropriateness in terms of the focus and scope of the journal as well as academic writing standards by the editors in charge of the journal. Manuscripts that do not fit the journal's criteria are immediately rejected without external review.
  2. After passing the above internal editorial evaluation, all manuscripts are then reviewed by at least two qualified experts.
  3. All publication decisions are made by the Editor-in-Chief of the journal based on the reviews provided.
  4. Members of the international Board of Editors provide insight, advice, and guidance to the Editor-in-Chief in general and to assist with decision-making on specific manuscripts.
  5. The Managing Editor provides administrative support that enables the journal to maintain the integrity of peer review while providing fast turnaround and maximum efficiency to authors, reviewers, and handling editors.
