History and Symbolic Meaning of Tongkonan from the Views of the Tana Toraja People

The purpose of this research is to discover the history, meaning, and symbols of Toraja’s Traditional House called Tongkonan. The mtehod that being used in collecting the data for this research is Interview with the stake holder of Toraja’s society and also Literature Riview. The result of this research is stated that the history, meaning, and symbol of Toraja’s Traditional House which is Tongkonan has a very tight correlation with Social Status anad Traditional Law that being conserved by the people of Toraja until this day.

Optimizing Education Facilities in Lembang Marinda Tana Toraja in Realizing Adaptive Education Quality

This research aims to investigate efforts to optimize educational facilities in Lembang Marinding, Tana Toraja, with a focus on achieving adaptive quality education. Using a qualitative approach and data collection through observation, interviews and FGDs, this research maps the condition of educational facilities from PAUD to high school levels and identifies existing challenges and potential. The research results show that there are several problems such as a lack of library restructuring and a lack of use of technology at the junior high school level. However, this research also reveals the potential for students to increase literacy and use of technology, as well as interest in learning local culture. From the research results, it is recommended to improve educational facilities, such as restructuring libraries and introducing technology, as well as learning local culture as an effort to realize adaptive quality education in Lembang Marinding, Tana Toraja. In conclusion, this research provides valuable insight for education stakeholders in developing strategies that suit local needs and potential in order to improve the quality of adaptive education in the area.

Use of Excel to Assist in Preparing Financial Reports (Case Study of the Mamba'ul Hisan Assu'udiyah Tirto Pekalongan Islamic Boarding School)

Advances in science and technology require an obligation to master knowledge in the field of information technology to face this era of globalization. This article discusses the use of Excel to help prepare financial reports. To support the smooth learning process in educational institutions, in this case Islamic boarding schools, a section, namely administration, is needed that supports these activities. The administration of an educational institution is the spearhead of the institution's educational services, which directly handle internal and external services. However, administrative staff are still not good enough to serve administrative administration due to several obstacles. This is no exception in the education sector. Through Microsoft Excel, financial reports can be prepared in a shorter cycle, from preparing journals to simple financial reports. This article aims to provide training regarding preparing financial reports using Microsoft Excel to streamline administrative performance.
